Terms of Service & EULA

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or accessing the Photo-Backend server, the web interface, or the Nomidocloud mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (“EULA”). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the software.

2. Self-Hosted Server License

The core Photo-Backend server container, AI microservice, and web applications are made available free of charge for personal self-hosted deployments. You are granted a non-exclusive, revocable license to run the software on your own local machines and hardware.

You are solely responsible for ensuring the security, backup, and disk maintenance of your local hosting environment.

3. Mobile App 7-Day Trial & Lifetime In-App Purchase

The Nomidocloud mobile application includes a 7-day free trial enabling full background sync, WebRTC remote relay, and mobile AI discovery.

Following expiration of the 7-day trial period:

• Local viewing and on-device photo inspection remain fully accessible without restrictions.
• Automated background sync and remote Central Hub relay require a one-time lifetime license purchase (“Lifetime Unlock”) priced at €14.99.
• All in-app purchases are fulfilled through Apple App Store (StoreKit) or Google Play Store, subject to their respective refund and billing policies.

4. Acceptable Use of Relay Infrastructure

You agree not to misuse the Central Hub STUN servers or signaling relays for abusive, disruptive, or unlawful purposes, including denial-of-service attempts or unauthorized proxying of third-party network traffic. We reserve the right to revoke API keys engaged in abusive network behavior.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The software and cloud relay services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Under no circumstances shall the developers or maintainers be liable for any data loss, hardware malfunction, or direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of this software.
